Lake Michigan Fishing Reports

06/24/2008

Catches of Coho and King Salmon are the main catch, along with a healthy mix of Lake Trout. Every other trip is producing a Skamania Steelhead, still a little early. 10 to 20 fish per boat. Perch fishing is starting to take off nicely,  some limit catches with a lot of jumbo's to 14 inches.

Limit catches of 5 per angler are still coming.  Kings, Coho, Steelhead and Lake Trout.  Perch fishing has been picking up daily. Catches of 9" or better perch in 40' FOW North and South of the pier. 35 to 80 per boat. This should only get better now.

Limit catches of Kings, Coho and Steelhead the past few days. Finally!!!

Fishing is starting to take off again with some nice Kings. Coho , Lake Trout and Steelhead also are in the bag.

Coho are being caught trolling 40' of water and into the shore line. Mostly Coho but some Steelhead, Browns and Lake Trout.  A few Kings are showing up but still waiting for the big numbers.
